_SHOW _SHOW: Just Wait Another Million Years

Everyone knows that the last minute of the washing machine cycle lasts forever, but what if the washing machine was the size of a whole art gallery? In that case we reason that forever must be at least 1 million years. Audience members were invited to enter our washing machine and in doing so join the supergroup who are planning their first and only concert to be given in 1 million years time. How do we prepare for the future, what can we learn from the past? By engaging with the various sculptures and machines offered, audience members could: simulate the sound and motion of a washing machine (using toy fish); get their fortunes told by a photocopier; send messages to the future though the medium of t-shirt design; eat cake especially designed by Nora Schneider to drastically change the colour and texture of your next poo (just incase it ends up getting fossilised); send musical air into the future to be breathed by everyone forever; hear and see the sounds of the big bang; or just to waste time by playing ping pong against yourself together with someone else.
